Matthias has been practising law since 2007 and joined CHEMARIN & LIMBOUR when it was formed in April 2014. He was appointed Partner in 2017.
He principally advices clients during investigations and proceedings before criminal courts with a focus on financial and fraud cases.
Matthias also leads the compliance practice and supports companies’ developing procedures on how to mitigate criminal risk (mapping, delegation of authority, ethical guidelines, whistle-blowing, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering procedures, training, audits and internal investigations).
Matthias previously worked in the White Collar Criminal Law Department headed by Claudia Chemarin at DS Avocats.
He was also a lecturer on white collar criminal law in the Master I Criminal Law and Criminal Science degree programme at the University of Paris X-Nanterre.
